KC

What your best engineers know was never written down.

KC, Knowledge Capture, interviews your retiring experts, structures what they say, and writes it into the graph as citable knowledge linked to the real equipment, lines, and procedures it describes. The judgment behind the drawings, kept where the next engineer can find it.

The deadline is demographic

1 in 2 process engineers reach retirement age this decade. The plants they built still run, on judgment that lives in their heads.

  • Why this bypass exists. The drawing shows the line. It does not say what problem it solved, or what happens if someone removes it.
  • What that alarm really means. The setpoint is documented. The operating context that separates a nuisance from a warning is not.
  • Which vendor manual is wrong. The correction lives in one engineer's memory, applied silently for twenty years.

No document system holds this knowledge, because it was never a document. Exit interviews produce recordings nobody watches. Shadowing programs transfer fragments to whoever happened to be in the room. When the engineer leaves, the rest walks out the gate.

The capture

From an expert's memory to citable graph knowledge.

KC does not produce an archive. It produces structured knowledge on the graph, attributed, linked to real assets, and queryable by everyone who comes after.

01

Interview

Structured sessions run on the plant's own drawings and history. The questions come from the graph, so they surface what only the expert knows: the exceptions, the workarounds, the reasons.

02

Structure

What the expert says becomes structured statements, not transcript. Each one is specific enough to be checked and specific enough to be cited.

03

Link

Every statement attaches to the equipment, line, instrument, or procedure it describes. The bypass explanation lives on the bypass, not in a folder.

04

Confirm

The expert reviews what was captured. Where a statement contradicts a drawing or a datasheet, KC flags it, and the plant decides which is right.

05

Serve

From that day on, the knowledge answers through Maven, cited to the expert and the session it came from. The next shift, the next hire, the next decade ask, and the answer holds.

Division of labor

IntuigentRuns the capture

  • Prepares each session from the graph: the assets, the history, the open questions
  • Asks, follows up, and structures the answers as the session runs
  • Links every statement to the assets it describes
  • Flags contradictions with drawings, datasheets, and prior captures

Your teamOwns the knowledge

  • The expert talks, corrects, and confirms the record
  • Engineering decides what becomes authoritative
  • Attribution stays with the person, on the graph
Why the graph, not a video library. A recording preserves the words. The graph preserves the knowledge: linked to the asset, retrievable by the question, citable in the answer. One is storage. The other is memory.

The clock
