Quality/Automation Lead

We are seeking an experienced QA/Automation Lead to define and scale the quality discipline from the ground up. This role will set the strategy, frameworks, and guardrails that ensure our products meet the highest standards of reliability and trust. It requires someone who has built comprehensive quality systems before and is eager to push the boundaries by applying cutting-edge AI technologies. You will partner closely with all facets of the company, including engineering, product, AI, security, and domain experts to establish both the quality frameworks that gate every release and the evaluation systems that measure and improve AI workflows. This is a rare opportunity to create a quality practice that is both foundational and forward-looking, with a direct impact on the success of the product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evolve and Operationalize Quality Strategy: Take the defined quality vision and lead its execution, refining and adapting frameworks as the product and organization scale.

  • Establish Quality Gates: Ensure robust release confidence through a combination of testing practices, automation pipelines, and continuous integration — raising the bar for reliability and trust.

  • Advance Evaluation Systems: Build and expand world-class frameworks to measure the effectiveness, safety, and reliability of AI workflows, integrating them into everyday development.

  • Drive Scalable Automation: Create automation infrastructure that accelerates development velocity while maintaining strong validation coverage across platforms and environments.

  • Partner Across Disciplines: Work closely with teams across engineering, product, AI, security, and domain experts — bringing your experience to identify gaps, propose new approaches, and embed quality at every stage of the lifecycle.

  • Define and Operationalize Metrics: Develop a comprehensive set of quality, AI evaluation, and release health metrics that track correctness, reliability, adoption, and business impact — and use these signals to inform decisions, communicate progress, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Champion Quality Culture: Act as an advocate and leader for quality, mentoring others and instilling a culture where quality is a shared responsibility.
