Forward Deployed Engineers and Customer Success Managers – LLM/AI for Industrial Operation – Gulf Region
About Us
We are an AI-native startup building next-generation Industrial AI systems for Oil & Gas, Chemicals, asset owners/operators, and large multinational industrial enterprises.
Our mission is to deploy “synthetic engineers” into plant environments — highly specialized AI systems that augment human expertise, improve operational reliability, and unlock measurable value.
Backed by leading investors and built by researchers from Berkeley AI Research, former FAANG engineers, and experienced industry leaders, we partner with some of the world’s largest industrial enterprises to deploy AI systems that meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and cybersecurity.
The Role
We are seeking Forward Deployed Engineers and Customer Success Managers to lead secure deployment, operational adoption, and value expansion of our AI systems across industrial customers in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region.
You will serve as the technical face of the company in the region, guiding customers from Proof of Concept through production rollout. You will ensure compliance with regional standards, drive measurable operational impact, and build trusted relationships from field engineers to leadership.
This role requires strong on-site presence, technical depth, operational credibility, and the ability to operate effectively in complex, high-stakes industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
Secure Deployment & Integration: Lead deployment of Industrial AI systems within complex Oil & Gas and process industry environments. Integrate with systems such as PI Historian, SAP (PM/MM/ERP), EDMS, SCADA/DCS, CMMS, and APM platforms. Ensure compliance with industrial cybersecurity and regional regulatory standards.
Operational Value: Develop and deliver customer success plans tied to measurable KPIs (e.g., uptime improvement, productivity gains, maintenance cost reduction). Translate plant data and AI outputs into actionable engineering insights. Lead scenario investigations and support data-driven operational decision-making.
Customer Adoption & Relationship Ownership: Manage expectations across stakeholder groups. Guide plant teams through onboarding, change-management, and continuous improvement. Build trusted relationships across operations, engineering, IT, and leadership. Drive user adoption and sustained platform utilization.
Voice of the Customer & Growth Enablement: Act as the Voice of the Customer to internal product and engineering teams. Relay customer priorities and feedback to inform roadmap and product improvements. Identify expansion opportunities and support executive business reviews. Represent technical expertise in strategic customer discussions.
Startup Mindset: Operate with urgency, accountability, and initiative. Take ownership beyond defined boundaries when needed. Thrive in fast-moving, high-impact startup environments.
Required Experience
4–10+ years of experience in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, Solution Architecture, or similar client-facing roles supporting enterprise customers in asset-heavy industrial sectors
Proven track record of delivering measurable ROI and long-term value — not just successful technical deployments
Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and earn trust in high-stakes production settings
Experience in plant environments, industrial information systems, and operational workflows
Experience in integrating into systems such as PI, SAP, EDMS, SCADA/DCS, CMMS, or APM
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience
Proficient in operational data structures and enterprise systems, including: PI Historian, DCS / SCADA environments, SAP (PM, MM, ERP modules), Engineering Data & Document Management Systems (EDMS), CMMS / APM platforms
Working knowledge of AI/ML-based platforms and SaaS in industrial settings
Familiarity with knowledge graphs, Large Language Models (LLMs), multimodal AI, and multi-agent systems
Ability to translate AI capabilities into tangible operational and financial value
Familiarity with industrial and regional cybersecurity requirements
